This pheasant-like breed originated in Holland, and was well known for dependable production of white eggs. They grow impressive plumage, and the males grow especially spectacular tails. Hamburgs are not setters, and are popular show birds. A spiked rose comb gives this bird an exotic look.
Males are 5 Lbs, Females 4 Lbs.
